Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of AuditorSignal's accessibility audit service. AuditorSignal is operated by Philipp Demin, Germany ("we", "us"). By ordering an audit you agree to these terms.

1. The service

For a flat fee of $497 (one store), we deliver a written accessibility audit report: an automated WCAG 2.1 scan based on the axe-core engine across a sample of your store's page templates (typically home, collection, product, cart, and checkout), supplemented by manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, with a prioritized fix list. One free re-scan is included after you ship your fixes.

2. Scope and limitations of automated testing

3. Not legal advice

The audit is a technical service. Nothing we deliver is legal advice, a legal opinion, or a certification of compliance or non-compliance. For legal questions about your obligations, consult a qualified attorney.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you own or are authorized to commission an audit of the store URL you submit. Implementing fixes is your responsibility; we do not modify your store.

5. Payment and refunds

Payment is processed via Stripe before work begins. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before the report is delivered. Because the report is a digital deliverable that cannot be returned, no refunds are available after delivery. If you believe the report is materially defective, contact us within 14 days and we will correct it.

6. No warranty

The service and report are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, completeness, or accuracy, except where such a disclaimer is not permitted by applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the audit in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health, where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence remain unaffected.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here at the time of your order applies to that order.
